What does onboarding involve?

We import your existing records, reconcile them against the physical inventory, preserve your identifiers and barcodes, and configure your ordering workflows. For a straightforward migration, physical reconciliation can typically be completed within two weeks once the records and materials are available. Custom integrations or enterprise IT reviews may take longer.

Do our CROs need to change how they work?

Accepted Answer

No. Your CROs can continue shipping compounds and manifests in their existing formats. Tangible receives the materials, reconciles the records, and coordinates the downstream work without requiring you to rebuild those relationships.

Can we keep ordering through our existing informatics systems?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tangible’s API can connect inventory, ordering, status updates, plate maps, and results with the systems your team already uses. You can work through Tangible’s workspace, your existing informatics stack, or a combination of both.

How does Tangible use AI?

Accepted Answer

Tangible uses AI to automate operational work across compound management, not to make scientific decisions. It helps interpret vendor data, reconcile inventory, surface discrepancies, and coordinate work across orders and workflows. Its role will continue to expand across research operations, with human oversight and an auditable record of changes.

How does Tangible protect our data?

Each customer’s data is kept separate and permission-controlled. Your company retains ownership of its inventory, orders, and results, and controls who can access them.

How quickly can Tangible turn around an order?

Accepted Answer

For established workflows, most preparation, plating, and domestic shipping requests can be completed within one business day. Same-day courier delivery is available in the Boston area. Larger orders, custom workflows, and international shipments are scoped upfront so you know when to expect them.

How do you make sure we receive the right compounds?

Accepted Answer

Every container is tracked by barcode from receipt through preparation, plating, shipment, and disposal. Incoming materials are reconciled against their manifests, and plate maps and dispensing are verified before an order is released. Analytical QC is also available when a workflow requires it.

What can Tangible store, and what formats and conditions do you support?

Tangible supports powders, solutions, tubes, vials, plates, and other common compound formats at ambient, 4°C, -20°C, and -80°C. Nonstandard containers and larger quantities can be reviewed with our team.

Who handles shipping, customs, and cold-chain logistics?

Accepted Answer

Tangible coordinates domestic and international shipping, including cold-chain requirements, customs documentation, brokerage, and delivery to third-party CROs. You can use Tangible’s logistics partners or your own carrier account.

How does pricing work?

Choose a flat monthly plan for each discovery program you run with Tangible, or pay per service when you want to begin with a smaller scope. Both options include access to the connected workspace. We scope your inventory and workflows upfront so you know what you will pay.

What counts as a program, and what does a program plan include?

A program is a distinct discovery effort, typically organized around a target or asset, whose compound inventory and recurring workflows are managed by Tangible. The flat monthly rate includes the storage, preparation, plating, and standard shipping defined in the agreed scope. Consumables are passed through at cost.

Can we pay per service and move to a program plan later?

Yes. Per-service pricing lets you start with a specific workflow or set of compounds without committing an entire program. You can move to a program plan later if your volume or needs grow.

Are there overage charges?

Accepted Answer

There are no surprise overages. If a program grows materially beyond its original scope, we will review and reprice it with you before anything changes on your bill.

Does the workspace or informatics integrations cost extra?

Accepted Answer

Access to Tangible’s workspace, users, and standard setup is included with every engagement. A custom integration with an ELN, LIMS, or internal system may require a one-time implementation fee, which is scoped and quoted upfront.

What is included with ADME-One, and who performs the work?

Accepted Answer

ADME-One combines a five-assay Tier 1 ADME panel with an AI-generated human PK projection for $199 per compound. Ginkgo Datapoints performs the assays, Inductive Bio generates the projection, and Tangible coordinates the preparation, shipping, data, and complete workflow.

Question 17

How much material is required, and how long does it take?

Accepted Answer

The standard panel requires approximately 20 µL of 10 mM stock. One to two milligrams of solid material is generally sufficient when Tangible is preparing the stock. Typical turnaround is seven to ten business days from receipt of assay-ready material to delivery of the results and PK projection.

Do we need separate contracts, and who owns the resulting data?

No separate contracts or purchase orders with Ginkgo Datapoints or Inductive Bio are required. They operate as disclosed subcontractors under your Tangible engagement, and your company owns the experimental results and projection report.

Can we change the assays in the panel?

Accepted Answer

ADME-One is designed as a standardized five-assay panel. Additional species, individual assays, and other options may be available for compounds that do not fit the standard panel. Talk to us about your modality and program requirements.
